Kefir cucumber diet

General rules

Kefir-cucumber diet refers to hard mono-diets, designed to lose weight in a short period of time. Duration - no more than 5 days. The best option is 3 days or a fasting day. Some authors suggest a longer stay on this diet program (7 days), however, in our opinion, an extremely unbalanced diet and the absence of the most important nutritional nutrients in the diet are associated with a high risk of developing a deficiency of unsaturated fatty acids, protein starvation, and even disorders metabolism. In addition, such an extremely low-calorie diet is difficult to tolerate and many people who are on a kefir-cucumber diet have a general weakness, dizziness up to fainting, nausea, irritability. Practicing kefir-cucumber diet is allowed only to people who do not have problems from the gastrointestinal tract.

The diet on cucumbers and kefir is quite simple, its diet includes only two products - raw cucumbers and kefir. Salted and pickled cucumbers are not suitable for diet food. The nutritional value of cucumbers is determined by their constituent (per 100 g of product) proteins - 0.8 g, carbohydrates - 2.8 g and fats - 0.1 g, vitamins C, PP, beta-carotene, A, B1, B2, macro / microelements - sodium, manganese, zinc, copper, potassium, iron, magnesium, chlorine, phosphorus, iodine, chromium; dietary fiber -1.0 g

The energy value of cucumbers varies between 15-18 kcal / 100 g. Fresh cucumbers help cleanse the intestines, normalize motility and peristalsis of the entire gastrointestinal system. For diet food, it is better to choose soil cucumbers that contain a minimum of chemical fertilizers and more nutrients than greenhouse ones.

Kefir with a low (1%) fat content refers to rapidly digestible food products, which contain (in 100 g) 3.8 g of protein, 1.0 g of fat, 4.5 g of carbohydrates, group A vitamins, B, E, D, PP; minerals - magnesium, strontium, potassium, molybdenum, calcium cobalt, fluorine, copper, lacto and bifidobacteria. Calorie content of kefir depends on its fat content (calorie content of 1% of the product is 40 kcal / 100 g). When choosing kefir, take into account the specifics of your body: if you are prone to constipation, purchase a product with a shelf life of less than one day, since it has a mild laxative effect, and with a tendency to diarrhea - a product with a shelf life of more than three days, as it secures the chair.

The total calorie content of the diet varies between 750-800 kcal / day, which ensures rapid weight loss (3-5 kg ​​per week). The diet of the diet "kefir and cucumbers" includes 1.5 kg of fresh cucumbers and 1-1.5 liters of low-fat kefir. All other products from the 3-day diet menu are excluded, including salt and sugar.

There are various options for a 3-day kefir-cucumber diet:

  • Cucumbers are finely chopped (chopped on a fine grater), mixed with kefir, and the resulting mixture in the form of a cocktail is consumed throughout the day for 5-7 meals at regular intervals. In this option, dill / parsley, basil or lemon juice is allowed in the cocktail.
  • Each component of the diet is consumed separately, for example, the first intake of cucumbers, and kefir 1.5-2 hours later or vice versa.

A sufficient amount of fluid should be monitored - at least 1.5 l / day in the form of unsweetened green / herbal tea, a rosehip broth, still mineral water.

For those who, for various reasons, wants to extend this diet up to 5-7 days, it is recommended (mandatory!) To include in their diet, in addition to kefir and cucumbers, products containing animal protein in an amount of at least 150 g / day. This can be boiled chicken breast, low-fat fish, cottage cheese, chicken eggs. Foods containing protein are recommended in the morning. Also mandatory is the presence in the diet of unrefined vegetable oil (olive) cold pressed in an amount of 20-25 g / day, which is better to season cucumber salad with garden herbs. 1-2 slices per day of rye / whole grain bread will also be beneficial.

When leaving the diet, it is important to observe the sequence, gradually expanding the diet due to cottage cheese, white chicken, whole grain cereals, vegetables (beets, carrots, zucchini, cabbage), fruits. It is recommended to introduce fatty foods into the diet only a week after the end of the diet.

In the future, to maintain the result, try to minimize the use of fatty, smoked, flour, fried and sweet foods and dishes. Keep track of the volume of your servings and do not overeat. Given the imbalance in the diet while on a diet, drugs containing an expanded composition should be taken vitamins and minerals. Also, for this period it is necessary to limit physical activity, to avoid visiting the sauna / Russian bath.

It is possible to practice a cucumber diet only in the absence of diseases from the gastrointestinal system.

  • Fresh cucumbers, dill parsley, which are recommended to be finely chopped and consumed with low-fat kefir or in the form of salads seasoned with lemon juice, olive oil or natural yogurt.
